Time4Learning Online Curriculum for PreK-12th Grade

Hi there!
As a former school teacher, I've always been a huge fan of project-based learning (PBL) in the classroom. My students loved taking part in hands-on projects instead of cracking the books every day. Now, as a homeschooler, I've started doing the same thing with my kiddos at home. If you aren't familiar with PBL, check out this blog post. It's possible you may already be incorporating it into your homeschool without even knowing it!
Many of the questions that guide projects in our homeschool stem from what my kids are learning in their online lessons. Time4Learning's curriculum does a great job of getting their minds thinking and opens the door to tons of ideas we can use for project-based learning. |

For example, if you're learning about magnetism in science, you can have your kids go "magnet fishing." Just tie one end
of a string to a pencil, and glue the other end to a strong magnet. Then let your kids find small household objects, add them all to a pile, and "fish" for the ones that are magnetic. They can make colorful charts to show which objects were attracted, which were repelled, and what each group had in common. How fun is that? Including project-based learning in your homeschool is easy and builds skills in a fun and engaging way. Try it out for yourself!
