Teachers will read the directions aloud and the student listens carefully to finish the task. Tasks involve listening skills, fine motor elements, coloring, and prepositional positioning of drawings. Here is an example of the instructions students will follow:
1. Color the groundhog brown, make his belly and cheeks pink.
2. Trace the sun with yellow.
3. Trace the clouds with blue.
4. Draw grass in front of the groundhog.
5. Draw red flowers coming out of the grass.
6. Draw a pink worm coming out of the dirt.
7. Draw a black hat on the groundhog.
8. Color the border clouds blue.

Here is a peek at the set we added to the January Fine Motor
Pack. You can see that these are lots of fun for students to show they can listen carefully to the instructions. Even if your student is already reading, this is a great way for them to work on following directions step-by-step, in an engaging way.
And yes, before you ask....we are hoping to add more of these Listening Skill Sheets to our other monthly packs. We'll likely focus on including them in the future sets, and then hit the other months with updates as we come back around the calendar year! You can view all our current Fine Motor Monthly Packs Here.
The second set of resources that we've added in are these fun Cuisenaire (TM) Rod Picture Sheets. These are tons of fun and provide a hands-on element to your classroom! Studens use
colorful centimeter rods to build thematic pictures. Students are asked to color the rod key to show how many rods they used of each color. For February we've added in Cupids Heart, Winter Penguin, Valentine's Day Letter, and I Love U message.
For January we've added in a Winter Tree, Colorful Snowman, Snowflake, and a Sled! These are just right for little hands and small motor muscles. Be sure to check out all the new reasources available in our January Fine Motor Pack and our February Fine Motor Pack.
