Hi ,

I realize we're still in December, but just in case you might be planning your January themes I wanted to send you some helpful new resources we've added to Preschool Mom.  The Arctic animal resources below can be used to create your own thematic unit for your classroom next month.

A set of six different color and learn pages about Arctic animals.  Featuring Arctic Fox, Orca, Caibou, Polar Bear, Walrus, and Seal each page includes four fun facts for children to remember about each animal.

A set of colorful photo wordwall cards of popular arctic animals. This set includes polar bear, arctic fox, snowy owl, caribou, gray wold, walfus, must ok orca, puffin, seal, arctic hare and beluga.

A simple Write and Read minibook about different arctic animals. This booklet is written in verse form similar to the book, "Polar Bear Polar Bear What do you Hear?" Children fill in the blanks and then read through the poem.  PRINT & Assembly: Doublesided/Flip on the Short Edge.  Cut in half horizontally, stack and staple.

Habitat Cut & Paste: This is a simple yet fun cut and paste activity for children learning about Arctic animals. Featuring 15 different animals, children must cut them out and decide which animals belong in an arctic habitat.

Predator & Prey Tracing: This is a worksheet for children to practice basic handwriting and lead each arctic predator to their prey.

Arctic Mazes: This is a simple tracing worksheet for children to practice beginning handwriting skills. Children trace the path from predator to prey with this simple printable worksheet.
