One of the most common requests we receive is to create low-prep writing products that will encourage young learners. In fact, some of our best selling products are our K-2 Writing Prompts and our Interactive Grammar Notebook.

Today we've created fun, yet simple way to get your students writing each day with our new

Daily Writing Notebook.

This daily notebook features 144 story starters for K-2 students. This low-prep set includes a cover page, pocket, 3-step instructions and 36 weeks of writing prompts. This simple setup works with any composition or a spiral notebook and is a great way to start of the morning!

Writing prompts print 12 to a sheet and can be cut apart into simple strips. Store strips in the provided pocket for each choosing each morning. For a little extra fun I printed mine on colored paper.....also because my kiddos are reluctant writers and color makes everything so much more inviting!

This is such a fun set of prompts that will keep your students busy all year! When used 4 days a week it will cover 36 weeks, and when used 5 days a week it will cover 29 weeks. It couldn't be simpler to inspire your student to jot down a sentence or two each morning. This notebook is intended simply to get students writing and to help them get their thoughts down on paper. As such, it is suggested that it be treated more like a journal and less like an exercise in writing mechanics. If you are using the program 4 days a week, you could certainly make Friday the day to review and edit writing if you feel the students need extra practice.
