Being thankful is something I strive to remind my kids to do on a daily basis. But during the month of Thanksgiving, we kick it up a notch. We love to do random acts of kindness like paying for the person behind us at the drive thru, thanking our mail carrier and
sanitation workers by baking a special treat, or making a handmade note that shows we appreciate their hard work.
One of the biggest things I'm personally thankful for is being able to homeschool my children. Through the fun, happy times and even the more challenging days, I love that I have the opportunity to spend every single day learning alongside them and making memories that will always be with me.
With the upcoming holidays, this is probably going to be a busy month for you. Perhaps you have travel plans or are hosting extended family for a few days. Through it all, remember to pace yourself. This is why I'm super thankful that Time4Learning has automated grading and reporting built into the online curriculum. It saves me so much time and allows me the opportunity to truly get to enjoy my family and savor these special holiday moments.
Oh, and if you're like me, you'll be looking for some fall crafts, recipes, and thanksgiving-related learning activities. You'll love what we have planned. Take a look!
