Hi ,

At our house Science is the favorite subject by far.....which is why (being the genius Homeschool Mom that I am) we save it for the very end of the day.  Ha!  My children all look forward to getting out of their chairs and into their experiment sets and hands on activities. Some experiments have been more exciting than others.  Like this time we melted a Styrofoam cup with acetone...parental supervision required:
Or the time we created an exploding soda with hydorgen peroxide and yeast!  I didn't get a photo of that one however, because one of my children absent mindedly took a drink of the soda immediately after we put the aforementioned chemical mixture into it. So instead of a photo I have a written transcript of my chat with Becky from Poison Control as a memory of that experiment.   #SlapThatInYourScrapbook

Here are some more Science experiments (that didn't kill us) that we did this year and shared on Instagram:

Hydrogen Bubbles  (Electrolysis? I believe....)
Flubber
Oregon Wood Scorpion (Observation because it crawled into our house!)
EEME Kits (We subscribe to EEME and continue to use these kits!)

Be sure to follow us on Instagram, we post every day now cause it's so easy!
