Learning about our solar system can be great fun! One of our favorite Summer activities is Meteor watching during the Perseid showers in August. We stay up late into the wee hours watching as amazing streaks of color flash across the sky. It’s considered one of our yearly Family traditions and it’s a fantastic way to get the kids interested in Astronomy! Who doesn’t love an opportunity to get you the glow in the dark paints? Use our space crafts in your classroom or homeschool as you teach children about the  different heavenly bodies, and remind them how beautiful God’s creations are! Children can make a shiny sun, ringed planet, constellations, spiral galaxy and a Jupiter mosaic.  Outer Space Crafts for Kids
 Our Space Shuttle Lapbook is available free to our newsletter subscribers.  This lapbook is unique in assembly, so be sure to watch the video for inspiration.  You don’t have to assemble it in this way, remember that lapbooking is a great opportunity for children to express their own creativity.
