Animation Revolution
Since when did the word "animation" come to mean only something that moves on a screen? Here’s the dictionary definition of “animation:"

What can we learn from this, other than that the word “oomph” is real enough to qualify for use in the dictionary? Nowhere in the synonyms list do you see “sitting on couch watching TV or IPad." Yet, that’s exactly what the word has come to mean in modern life.
