With the winter season ahead of us, we are excited to release our newest Guided Writing Pack for December! This monthly set is filled with winter fun to keep your students engaged this holiday season. With fun, interactive writing prompts, each of these activity pages has been designed to build key writing skills while keeping the prep-time to a minimum.

As kindergarten students have been developing their writing skills over the past three months, December writing prompts include opportunity for longer responses. We've also chosen a smaller font size on the blank response lines. Both of these changes will help your student gradually write smaller, and develop the necessary endurance for their upcoming first-grade year.

Interactive Guided Writing Prompts for December

Each writing prompt is designed to allow students to complete the activity independently. Students are asked a simple question and then given a writing template to follow in order to answer the question. The word bank contains any words the student might need to personalize the response. Students copy and write their answers on the shaped writing templates. Then, students cut out their writing and glue it inside their composition notebook.
