September is National Mushroom Month, its the perfect time to dive into a nature study on the topic. (No, I haven't lost my marbles....I know it is still August, but I figured if I sent this ahead of time, you'd have time to prepare for September). Even though nature studies can be wonderfully sporadic, sometimes it's good to do a little planning ahead of time.
And for this nature study, you don’t need to wander much farther than your own backyard, the next open field, or local state park. There are so many things to learn about and enjoy about mushrooms, while still keeping it simple. We've put together a collection of activities, crafts, printables, projects, and even recipes you can use to immerse your students in the world of
