Students will have a blast building their words with letter magnets! In addition, your children will practice fingerspelling to sign their words ten times. Students finish the hands-on activity by checking the box each time they fingerspell the word aloud.

Editable Building Brick Activities

Students will have a ton of fun building their own names using pattern blocks. Once they finish creating their own name, students will practice math skills by counting the number of blocks they used based on shape & color. To wrap up,  students can practice writing their own names in a sentence.

Students can use their own LEGO™ set or any other classic building bricks to build their own name. Students will then report on their creation by filling in the graphing chart. Children can continue to write their own names for extra practice. 

Pin and Poke Activities

Our fine motor name tracing worksheets are extremely effective at teaching a child how to write their name. For best results, use a wooden dowel and a felt pad to pin
and poke while spelling their own name. In addition, guide students to touch the dots as they spell their words aloud.
